Collins on CR: Any Legislation the Chair of the Progressive Caucus Calls a 'Big Win,' Isn't

Washington, D.C.—Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.) issued the following statement after voting against the "laddered" Continuing Resolution (CR):

"Continuing resolutions without substantial spending cuts and policy reforms are unacceptable. Further, any legislation the Chair of the Progressive Caucus calls a 'big win' isn't something my district would support and works against our Commitment to America," said Collins.

"I will continue to advocate for measures at every opportunity that reduce government spending and our debt. The threat to America's future stability is too great to continue business as usual in Washington."
