Collins Votes to Ban Biden from Selling U.S. Oil Reserves to China

Washington, D.C. - Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 22, the Protecting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act. Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.), who voted in favor of the bill issued this statement:

“Under the Biden administration, America has gone from energy independence to energy dependence. Biden has also depleted our strategic petroleum reserve to its lowest level in 40 years by selling it to the Chinese Communist Party, which now has the largest oil reserve in the world. Today, I was proud to stand with the House GOP in taking the first step toward ending this disastrous, America-Last policy that threatens our national security.”
