Collins Votes to Protect Children and Condemn Violence against Pro-Life Organizations
Washington, D.C. - Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 26, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and H. Con. Res. 3, a resolution to condemn recent attacks on pro-life facilities, groups, and churches in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision. Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.), who voted in favor of the bill and resolution, issued this statement:
“I am unapologetically pro-life. All human beings have a right to life, including unborn children, and I am thrilled that in our first week the new House Republican majority has voted to protect the most innocent and defenseless among us. I also proudly voted to condemn the left-wing violence against crisis pregnancy centers over the past year. These centers provide crucial assistance to mothers, babies, and families in need and must be protected.”
