Collins Votes To Protect Women and Girls’ Sports

Washington – Following the passage of H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.), who voted in favor of the bill, released this statement:

“Once again, the Biden administration is attempting to sacrifice reality on the altar of wokeness. It’s incredible that in America today the House of Representatives would have to stand up and vote to ban men who pretend to be women from participating in women’s sports, but here we are because radical Democrats refuse to trust the science and believe biology. The science was settled at creation – women have two X chromosomes, and men have one Y and one X chromosome. Sports teams for obvious reasons should be sorted accordingly.”
