Collins Votes For Strongest Border Package This Century

Washington – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 2 the Secure the Border Act of 2023. Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.), who voted in favor of the bill, issued this statement after passage:

“House Republicans have once again delivered on our Commitment to America by voting to do something the Biden administration won’t –secure our border. For the last two years, President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas have left our border wide open, allowing 7 million illegal immigrants to come into our country, 2 million of whom never even encountered law enforcement. With this bill, Republicans showed that we are committed to securing our border, supporting our border agents, and building the wall.”
