Rep. Mike Collins' Statement on Passage of the Continuing Resolution

Washington, D.C. – Today, Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.) released the following statement on the passage of the House Republicans’ Continuing Resolution.

“Today, Congress took decisive action to keep our government running and advance the priorities of the American people by passing the Continuing Resolution (CR). This funding bill ensures the federal government stays operational, empowering ICE agents to continue to secure our borders, rooting out waste and fraud in federal spending, and honoring our commitments to taxpayers and veterans.

The passage of this CR provides the runway for Congress and President Trump’s administration to build on these efforts, culminating in ‘one big, beautiful’ reconciliation bill in the coming months to deliver on his bold agenda. Now, we must stay united to enact bold reforms that put the American people first.
