H.R. 1734, the Testing, Rapid Analysis, and Narcotic Quality (TRANQ) Research Act, which was the first bill written and introduced by the freshman congressman, originally passed the House on May 11 by a vote of 425-0. |

"I am very glad to see the House pass my amendment to prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from implementing—or enforcing—the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA’s) economically harmful and draconian rule to limit the speed of watercraft over 35 feet to ten knots," said Collins. "This is a big win for coastal industries."
