Monroe, GA–Representative Mike Collins (GA-10) today announced that he will hold two “Meet with Mike” listening sessions for 10th District residents. On Friday, April 5th, residents from Wilkes County and the surrounding area are invited to stop by The Nest Coffee & Community House between 12:15 P.M. and 1:15 P.M. Then, on Monday, April 8th, there will be a second event at the Historic Walton County Courthouse from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Both meetings are opportunities for Rep. Collins to hear constituents’ concerns and priorities. |

On Thursday, February 29th, Tenth District residents may meet with members of Rep. Collins' staff from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M at the City of Monticello’s Susan D. Holmes Council Chamber. This event is an opportunity for constituents to discuss their concerns, share their priorities, or seek help with a federal agency.
Washington, D.C.—Today, Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.) announced that he will introduce the House Companion to S. 192, the Safe Passage on Interstates Act, legislation that would make the intentional obstruction of interstate highways illegal.
The bill was first introduced in the Senate by Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) on January 31, 2023.

Washington, D.C.—Today, Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.) announced that he will introduce the Restricting Administration Zealots from Obliging Raiders (RAZOR) Act. The legislation would ban the federal government, including the U.S. Border Patrol, from removing or otherwise altering any state-constructed barriers installed to mitigate illegal immigration. |
Washington, D.C.—Representative Mike Collins (R-Ga.) issued the following statement after voting against the Continuing Resolution (CR):
"We are barreling towards a fiscal cliff and Congress won't do its job," said Rep. Collins. "While I understand Speaker Johnson inherited a budget mess in the middle of the fourth quarter, I cannot support, nor can our country sustain, a continuation of Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden's reckless spending.
